Explore on the free plan. Pay when you build.
The full solver, every chart and your projects are on the free plan with daily run limits. Builder is for when you're about to roll cones: unlimited runs, build sheets and batch sweeps. Builder isn't available yet.

Shop plan for pipe builders and dyno shops: coming.
Have an engine with known specs and a real dyno sheet? Testers get unlimited runs while we gather validation data, in exchange for honest feedback on where the sim hits and where it misses.
Questions
Is the free plan enough to learn?
Yes. The free plan has the same solver and every chart that Builder has; it's limited by how much you run each day, not by what you can see. We set the daily limit by one rule: a newcomer should be able to finish the getting-started tutorial and compare one pipe change against it in a single sitting. If the limit stops you before that, tell us, because then the limit is wrong.
What counts as a run?
Runs are metered by compute, not counted one by one. The free plan gets a daily allowance of work units, reset at midnight UTC, and the Daily usage bar in the app shows what's left. A sweep costs more with more rpm points, lower rpm, a lower CFL number and a higher quality setting. The Run dyno button shows the estimate before you start, and you're charged for the compute actually used, never more than the estimate. Builder removes the daily allowance, subject to fair use.
Can I share a run without an account?
That's the plan, and it's free on both plans. Public run pages are in development: a link anyone can open without an account, showing the dyno chart and the inputs behind it. Copying a shared run into your own project will need a free account. Until run pages are live, you can compare runs inside your own projects.
Why a subscription, and not a one-off licence like EngMod2T or MOTA?
Because the work happens on our servers, not on your PC. EngMod2T and MOTA run on your own Windows machine, so a one-off licence makes sense for them. WaveDyno runs every sweep on server hardware and stores your projects there, which costs us something every month. A subscription pays for that. The monthly option is there for the builder with one pipe to make this winter: pay for the month you're building, stop when the pipe is done. If you stop paying, you're back on the free plan, and your projects stay.
How accurate are the results?
Every number WaveDyno produces is a simulated estimate. The solver core is checked against classic shock-tube references and CFD cases, and each dyno point carries a convergence check, so unsettled points are flagged instead of plotted as if they were settled. Matching real dyno sheets across a range of engines is ongoing work, and it's what the tester programme is for. Treat a sim as a way to compare designs and to see where the waves land, and check the build on a dyno.
When will Builder be available?
Builder opens when billing and exports are ready. Until then everything on the free plan works as it does today, and nothing on the free plan will move behind Builder. To ask to be told when Builder opens, press Notify me and submit the short form.
Prices in US dollars. All outputs are simulated estimates.
